I love this feature, but I dont want the twitter icon or recent updates from twitter on my actual page. I have a private twitter for a reason, yet whenever i tweet-it shows on my tumblr page (that everyone can see) is there a way that i can still have my tumblr posts go to my twitter, but not have twitter on my tumblr?

luv tumblr!! but one annoying thing is the "send to twitter". its sometimes buggy and unpredictable.

I can't either. I always get tweets appear on my tumblr blog if I turn posting to twitter on. I want it to work only in one direction and not loop back but can't figure how to do it :/

It does! In my case I can't configure it so my posts go to twitter and DO NOT appear on my tumblr. Seems like a loop even though I unchecked "show my tweets in my dashboard" option. Any suggestions?

It would be great if the "text" posts under 140 characters automatically were sent to Twitter as text without any link, and with a "+" or "..." link for larger "text" posts.

Yeah, ditto here. I posted at the end of the thread before I saw these posts here. I'd love to post to a secondary tumblr blog, as well. Maybe be able to define a twitter account per tumblr blog?
