I have 2 tumblr blogs, but only posts from one are showing up on twitter (I'd like it to be the second one). Is there a way of choosing?

Like spartikus ("I'M SPARTIKUS!" etc), I can only get the twitter updates from my first tumblr blog. And I'd like to use my second tumblr blog as my primary one.

Please can you guys let us switch which is our primary tumblr blog? It would be totally awesome if we could do this!

Ditto on the "fail to post tweet for secondary Tumble-blog".

Also: Please change the text of the tweet. "Tweet From Tumblr..." is overly long, and this is already implied in the status message info ("xminutes ago from Tumblr". People don't care where it came from much, Tweetdeck doesn't start by saying "Tweet from Tweetdeck".

If you must put some sort of marker for testing purposes for now to grab the stream of Tumblr-sent updates from Search.twitter.com, then use something super short like "#tmblr".

Otherwise, good job on moving ahead with this much needed feature upgrade.

Yeah, ditto here. I posted at the end of the thread before I saw these posts here. I'd love to post to a secondary tumblr blog, as well. Maybe be able to define a twitter account per tumblr blog?

Very cool. I like that you build @ replies as threads - very helpful to see conversations like that. I also like that you extract short URLs like bit.ly, etc... Also, kudos on showing thumbnails for TwitPics.

I am mucho impressed... This possibly one of the best twitter implementations I've played with, may start using it instead of twitter.com, although it seems a little sluggish, so until it speeds up i'll just be using it intermittently...

Are you working on embedding YouTube videos into the dashboard? That is, if someone posts a link to a YouTube (or Vimeo, CollegeHumor, etc.) video on Twitter it'll be embedded on the dashboard.

Suggestion though: After you post something, you should have an option (in the edit post section) where you can tweet about that post.
Already using this these few days I've already had this happen a few times.

By the way, as this post proves, sometime in the not too distant future, you may want to think about an option to collapse "Likes" (a la FriendFeed "x, y, and z and XX other people likes this), and maybe Reblogs except those that added a comment of some sort. Otherwise, there is tons of scrolling through stuff that doesn't contain much information.

Add a toggle for those that want to re-expand to see the full lists.

I really appreciate the new feature. However I would *really* appreciate the ability to edit what gets sent to my Twitter account. Ideally, when I click to say "yes, x-post this to Twitter" (I don't have it on by default) it would show me the tweet as you intended to send it, but it would be editable so I could tweak it before it got published (or do nothing and push it as you created it—though I doubt *I* would use this, others probably would).

Also, a solution for using the Share on Tumblr bookmarklet would be in order, so one can control from that interface whether something gets pushed to Twitter.

Thanks for you hard work on the new features. Other than making it easier (like check box and credentials) to add Disqus to a tumblog, I can't think of much else I'd like to see added. Great work, guys.

(PS-i'll volunteer to beta test the twitter integration if you're in need.)

I'll second Brian's suggestion here. My problem is that, when I create a Tumblr entry, Tumblr picks the first 100 characters (or so) to be published as a tweet. However, this 100 or so characters may not make sense to my Twitter followers.

I suppose I can structure my Tumblr log and discipline myself to always have a short description first. But it would help if the Tumblr dashboard has some kid of character counter so I know what will be published as a tweet.

My only concern: I don't want to have to go to "Advanced" in my bookmarklet every time I post something. If you can fit it on the initial page that would be much better!

How do I turn off the URL that gets posted to my twitter along with my tumblr post when posting text entries? This is the only thing preventing me from using this feature.

I'm liking this, but when I post a capital-L Link to Tumblr, I really wish the tweet would include this link instead of, or in addition to, a link to the post. Seems annoying to have people click on my tweet and then have to click on my post to see the link.

Great feature, but would it be possible to enable it for a (multi-users) secondary blog instead of a specific account ?

Like Kenshi and spartikus, I've got a secondary blog and I would prefer tumblr to tweet my primary blog posts on my twitter account, but I would also like my secondary blog posts to be tweet using an other account. The perfection would be reached if my friends posts were also tweet using this other account.

Are there any plan concerning this ?

The problem here is that I have 3 tumblr sites, and only one pref to set. How do I get specific tumblr site to post to specific twitter account? It's only posting when I post from my main tumblr account, not the other one. :(
